Kjindabuilding is releasing his new hip-hop single, “Televised,” featuing a dope video on YouTube. The video begins with an interrogation scene with Kj acting as himself in the story of a rapper falsely accused. It quickly shifts into a visual accompaniment with Kj flowing through clever wordplay and lush melodies. He’s an innovator, bringing versatility into every aspect of his music.

Quality is the most important aspect of Kj’s work. His unique voice, beat selection, and bars set him miles apart from other artists. Both a creator and music engineer, Kj is mostly self-taught, with the exception of a few music courses in college. He’s been making music now for over a decade, beginning when he was just 13 years old. Kj digs back to the style of the 90’s hip hop. His influence comes from the love of music, studying the greats like Nas, Busta Rhymes, and Kendrick Lamar. Kj has a special ear for music, which led him to engineering and writing for himself and other artists.

From Silver Spring, Maryland, Kj is currently based in the DC area, making a name for himself in the DMV scene. He’s performed in venues all over the city, and his single, “Catch My Wave,” made a local buzz on the 95.5 FM radio station. His musical focus is on creating, performing, and helping other artists grow. Being a big-time rapper has always been Kj’s dream. Passionate about helping others, Kj writes songs that boost your mood. Fans use Kj’s tunes to get through the day, listening to messages in lyrics they can relate to.

Kjindabuilding recently dropped a collaboration mixtape titled, Exhibition, with the artist Madrid, which included one single released on Shade45 Radio. Kj is working on his solo project for now, an album set to drop at the end of December. This new album has an organic feel and showcases his growth as an artist.

“I hope I will be able to reach more of the masses with this project,” Kj says. “I want my music to be heard. I want my audience to feel satisfied or even blown away when listening to my album.”
