Introducing the Central Florida Project: a dynamic music group dedicated to spreading positivity and inspiration through their music and life experiences. Combining old-school and new-school elements, their sound is captivating and uplifting.

The group, which includes members Jayson Selvage, Harvey Simmons, and Benjamin Chewning, began three years ago in their hometown of Lakeland, Florida. Having all been obsessed with music from a young age, these talented musicians came together to share their passion with the world.

The Central Florida Project’s music is a vibe of its own within hip-hop, standing out with groovy beats, and catchy lyrics. Their songs aim to inspire and reassure listeners that we all share the struggle as humans and we must uplift one another. More than just music, Central Florida Project represents generational change. Their hope is for fans to find a connection in their lyrics that is meaningful.

Over time, the group has fallen deeper in love with the creation and performance side of things, beginning to find purpose in the freedom of their expression. As independent artists, they take pride in having produced, recorded, and marketed their material all independently.

Their hard work and dedication has paid off, with the band achieving many milestones along the way. But perhaps their proudest career moment was playing at the Polk Theatre in their hometown of Lakeland, Florida. This historical stage has seen the likes of Elvis Presley and many other legendary performers, and the group felt honored to be able to stand on the same stage.

Their latest music video, WORLD CLASS dropped on January 20th.

Central Florida Project is streaming on all platforms and exclusive content, including a podcast and unreleased music videos, can be found on their Patreon.
