Lyve

Rap and hip-hop artist, Lyve, is attracting audiences with his catchy rhymes and grimey beats. His lyrical rhymes are accelerated, high-energy poetry on the track. Unique and original, he is offering a sound that can not be replicated. Interested in music for his entire life, he really dug into taking his work to the professional level over the last couple of years. Lyve is constantly working and has learned a lot in his time with the industry. He is growing with such rapid pace, trying new things with his wordplay, it’s non surprise that his music just keeps getting better and better.

 “My Music means everything to me,” Lyve explains. “I love music like I love my son. I look at music as art. You can paint whatever picture you want and control whatever image comes to mind. You can make it come alive.”

Born in Evanston, Illinois, Lyve was raised on the North and West sides of Chicago and Northern Illinois suburbs. He played percussion in his middle school band and is self-taught with his work in rap and hip-hop. Although Lyve always loved music, he didn’t know he could rap until some close friends persuaded him to give it a try. It helped him through a bad divorce he was going through at the time and Lyve immediately fell in love with the art. His versatile sound is influenced by a wide collection of artists including J. Cole, Lil Wayne, and Nas. Occasionally collaborating with others in his local scene, Lyve is highly adaptable with his music, skilled with his control on vocals. The value he incorporates in his wordplay and most artists will find Lyve’s tracks are easy to take a bite off of and keep up with. His flow alternates in pace and energy, resulting in songs that are easy to vibe and rock with.

“I just enjoy the arts as a whole, so I want listeners to gain high energy and have a great time when my songs come on. I hope people in a bad mood are able to hear my music and experience a gratifying burst of enjoyment and relief because I said something they can truly relate to.”

His passion for music runs deep and Lyve enjoys both listening to the work of others and creating songs of his own to share with fans. Currently preparing to relocate to Atlanta, he is building a strong fanbase and starting to make appearances on radio and blog platforms across the industry. Lyve is always working on new projects and is preparing another collective mixtape, his third since late 2019. Fans can access music by Lyve on any and all music platforms.
