Melodic, rhythmic and uplighting, Mr, Propane is bridging Old School style with the New Era Sound!

Hailing from Louisiana, Mr. Propane is an independent hip-hop artist that is striving to make a difference in the industry. We spoke to “Nune” aka Mr Propane about his place in the music business. “Who inspired you to make music?” “ My music comes from a Spiritual Place. I always pray and believe that God has given me the words to put out music that is a better influence than what is available today. After I saw what the 2017 “Drill Movement” was putting out, I felt compelled to counter that very influential music, with music that left a positive impact on society.

His musical influences range from Lupe Fiasco, Kanye, JCole, Kendrick Lamar and Tupac. He really leans into the Poet & Revolutionary aspects of Tupac’s music, but would most like to collaborate with JCole if given an opportunity. He also notes that he would love to collab with North Carolina’s up & coming “Morray” He speaks on the “Soulful Energy” that he identifies with, because it speaks to the people.

We asked Mr. Propane, what message would he give to his fans?
“Be aware of the influence of the music that you listen to.” He feels that music can separate or bring people together, and wants to be recognized for raising the consciousness and awareness of his listeners.

What’s next for Mr. Propane? He is currently working on a MixTape and planning to go on a multi-city tour by the end of the year. Whatever his plans are, we are confident that Mr. Propane will achieve his musical goals with his heart & pen pointed in the right direction.
