OG Flame

Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, the hip-hop artist, OG Flame, is attracting audiences with his groundbreaking heartfelt lyricism and catchy bars. The versatile artist offers diversified styles such as trap and drill, and continues to branch into various subgenres. His undeniable work ethic and drive for music is unstoppable and indestructible. 

OG Flame found his creative drive as a teenager when he began writing poetry throughout middle school. Being faced with traumatic experiences from watching his mother undergo chemotherapy while battling breast cancer, to winning legal disputes against a federal officer at only 17 years old. The cards he has been dealt with throughout his adolescence has influenced his creativity and expressiveness as a form of therapy. OG Flame finds inspiration through his harsh, current and past experiences, as well as personal and family struggles. The artist uses his story as a way to speak on the hardships of the streets, rather than encouraging the lifestyle. Aside from music being a healing outlet, he describes music as his first love of art. 

In 2021, OG Flame gained traction for his songs, “Stay Gone”, and “Like Mike”, which were both backed with music video releases. “Stay Gone” is his first track that was released on all major platforms that retold his story of the reality of painful times and loneliness. Similarly, “Like Mike” is heavily influenced by the tragic passing of his cousin. Both heartfelt songs and video presentations have reached over 65k views on Youtube. This year, he has had the opportunity to be featured as a special guest for the Trippie Redd concert in Tempe, Arizona! OG Flame’s favorite memory is performing at the OG Bigga Rankin Birthday Bash.  

The self-taught and struggle made artist, OG Flame has exemplified his dedication and ingenuity to the industry, as he has studied the business of music and is constantly improving and refining himself, not only as an artist, but as a person as well. As a father of two boys and two girls, parenthood has motivated him to keep going and strive to be the greatest version of himself in and outside of his music career. He is constantly, and persistently creating and working on his musical projects. Throughout rhythm and rhyme, OG Flame has influential messages to express and share with all audiences, especially those with past traumas.
