The recent passing of adorned Los Angeles rapper and philanthropist Nipsey Hussle has many still in disbelief. A plethora of family, fans and friends have continued to relive their memories with the slain rapper daily.

Nipsey’s former music manager, Steve Lobel, recently shared memorable moments with the “Dedication” rapper in an intimate interview with Young Atlas (a platform for creatives based in Harlem, New York).

Lobel goes on to mention how he got his start when the late Jam Master Jay took him under his wing in the early days of Def Jam Recordings and Rush Management.

The New York City native catapulted to legendary status working with Fat Joe, Common and 8Ball & MJG in the ’90s. He later managed Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s Bizzy Bone, Sean Kingston, and Nipsey.
